We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Agronomist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our vision of transforming the agricultural landscape.Job Summary:As an Agronomist at EFP, you will play a pivotal role in the research and development of our polymer products tailored for agricultural applications. You will leverage your expertise in agronomy to guide product development, conduct field trials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet the needs of modern agriculture. This is a remote position, but you must be based near Texas or California for occasional on-site activities and fieldworkKey Responsibilities:Research & Development: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and test new polymer products aimed at improving soil health, water retention, and crop yields.Field Trials: Design, implement, and monitor field trials to evaluate the effectiveness of polymer applications in various crop systems.Data Analysis: Analyze trial data to draw actionable insights and make recommendations for product improvements.Technical Support: Provide agronomic expertise and support to internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development.Customer Engagement: Engage with farmers, agronomists, and industry stakeholders to gather feedback and understand their challenges and needs.Education & Training: Develop educational materials and conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on best practices for polymer use in agriculture.Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on agricultural regulations and ensure that all product claims and trials comply with industry standards.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in agronomy or agricultural research, preferably within the agrochemical or polymer industry.Knowledge:Strong understanding of soil chemistry, plant physiology, and agricultural best practices.
